Michael D. Sejka began his career as a Financial Advisor at McDonald Investments. Developing an in-depth investment plan for each client is the cornerstone of his practice. By working with a limited number of clients, he is able to focus on the three principles of wealth management: the creation and growth of wealth, the preservation of wealth, and the planning and distribution of wealth in a tax-advantaged way. He was selected to the Platinum Council at Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network from 2016–2025. 

Michael attended St. Ignatius High School and then Baldwin Wallace University for both his bachelor’s and MBA degrees. Although no longer a practicing attorney, Michael earned his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University College of Law. He lives in Medina, OH, with his wife, Tina, and their five children: Maximus, Demitra, Morgan, Nevaeh, and Matteo.

Carmen began his career in the financial services industry in January of 2000 as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, later joining Smith Barney and ultimately moving his advisory practice to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2013.  He earned his Portfolio Manager designation in 2006 and has built his discretionary portfolio management practice on the principles of acting as his clients’ Fiduciary, obligated to always place their best interests first.

As a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager, Carmen is responsible for the daily oversight and customized management of his clients’ advisory investment portfolios.  With access to Wells Fargo Investment Institute’s (WFII) strategy and research as well as various third-party resources, combined with nearly a quarter century of experience, he has developed a process and disciplined approach toward tactically adjusting to ever-changing market conditions which has earned him the trust and confidence of the people and businesses with whom he works.

In his free time, Carmen enjoys Cleveland sports, working out and live music!  Carmen and his wife, Debbie live in Valley City, Ohio.  They have two adult sons, Anthony and Dominic.

Thomas P. Haggerty has nearly 35 years industry experience as a Financial Advisor, 10 years of which have been spent as a PIM Portfolio Manager, providing comprehensive advice to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and executives. Tom’s process begins with a review of the prospect’s or client’s overall personal and/or business goals in the context of their asset preservation and growth expectations. With that information in hand, he then develops a tailored strategy to balance growth, income, and liability management given certain objectives and timelines. 

Tom’s use of asset allocation strategies using equities, mutual funds and ETF vehicles in taxable, tax- deferred, and 501(c) organizations plays a large role in the implementation and achievement of each client’s strategy. He continues thereafter to compare plan outcomes to stated goals and discuss any adjustments or changes impacting the client’s plans and goals.

Helping clients transition surplus resources to help fund late life, intergenerational, and  charitable planning is the last phase of Tom’s process.

Mary Lumsden’s investment career began over 30 years ago at McDonald Investments, where she focused on investments and the tactical needs of her clients. Over time, as her clients’ needs evolved, Mary’s practice developed a more holistic approach focusing on retirement and estate planning strategies, risk management, and liability management.

Margaret Hanslik began her career at McDonald Investments in 1999, working on the Municipal Bond Trading Desk where she gained valuable knowledge of financial market operations from the ground level.

Margaret then worked for Smith Barney from 2007 to 2012 as a Client Associate, where she attained her Series 7 General Securities and Series 66 State Law/Investment Advisory securities registrations.  She Joined Well Fargo Advisors in August 2012 as a Registered Client Associate and has since been promoted to Senior Registered Client Associate Officer, leveraging her 25 years of industry experience to help serve our clients. 

Margaret lives in Bay Village with her husband Jim and youngest daughter.  Margaret and Jim have four adult children and four grandchildren.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities and group workouts at her gym.

Shawntee Clay was born and raised in Euclid, OH, and she received her diploma from Euclid High School, where she was a student athlete who excelled both in the classroom and on the softball field. Her love of finance began there. After graduating, she immediately began her career taking a job at a local bank while also attending college.
